HIBS U17 COACHES STEP UP

Hibs U17 coaches Vic Toon, Carson Ralton and Walter McGill have taken the opportunity to step up to the SCOTTISH WOMEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE to Whitehill Welfare Ladies FC. In  addition to this move the club will  compete in the 2006–2007 season  under the new  name of Edinburgh Ladies Football Club (ELFC)

ELFC have already signed new players with Premiership experience for the next campaign including Debbie McWhinnie and Diana Barry. Last season’s Central League’s u17’s stars Molly McKean, Sarah Archibald, Lorna Brownlie and Danielle Weir will provide a blend of youth and experience to a team that has retained many of last years squad that finished the campaign in mid-table.

Carson Ralton believes that the new regime will provide the ideal platform to challenge for a top place in the Premiership “We are all looking forward to the season with new coaches assisting team manager Kirsty McKay.

A new team and a new home venue at the prestigious playing area at St. Mark’s Park. This is the beginning of a new era for Ladies football in Edinburgh.”

Contact with the new club can be made through their web site at :-  www.elfc.co.uk
